Monday mashup

For Monday mashup we created a stop-motion video.  First we made a storyboard with our group next we made our characters from clay. after  they dried we colored them in. Finally we made our stop motion. We had to hold the iPad still and and hands away. What would happen if we did it with action figures. what would happen if we made our background with something else not Lego.

Soler oven

We tried an experiment we made a solar oven and with food we put crackers and chocolate chips on top then we put it in front of the sun. The glad wrap was supposed to keep the heat in. we made a solar oven. I thought it was going to be very messy but it  wasn’t. We put  tin foil on the top of the flap and it was meant to melt the chocolate the black paper at the bottom of the box was Supposed to keep the hate end to melt the chocolate.

What would happen if we did it with candy?

Today we did a Monday Mashup we did a stop motion so I made an elephant and my group made a lion and a mouse. I made a house out of lego then we slowly moved the animals and took a picture of them. Then we made it in the house. I did not like it because I did not get Japanese when I picked it there was no more  space and the group I have was just messing around?

If I was in Japanese I would like it because I like learning new languages.

We had clay to make the animals I made the elephant with clay. First I made a ball then I made legs and eras so I smoothed the clay down then after we finished the clay. I let it dry for a week so now its all hard then we colored it.

In inquiry we are learning about fossil fuels this is what i did today. we did a experiment with candy and chocolate we used teeth picks for  Oil drills it was showing us the Oreo are the dirt the gummy worms are the dead animals and on top is biscuits what means they’re rocks then more rocks they where chocolate chips. After that we get to use the toothpicks to put them in the Rocks then we get the gummy worms.

TE reo maori

I did TE reo Maori and we needed to write an action and then we needed to insert a image of the writing. I found it challenging to find the correct Maori words. do you know any action words in Maori.

e pro 8 kit

I did e pro 8 with Tommy, Mehran, Oliver and Jaxon we built a rowing boat we had to do team work to build the thing. we used big and small bars and this red cube was also this blue cube I used resilient because i did not give up. Would work with my team because they’re my friends.

Last week we went to camp at Living Springs. We had lots of fun and my favorite activity was mountain boarding. There was a giant hill to go down on the board so I went down the small hills first then I got better and better. I managed to go down the massive hill in the morning we had breakfast and I was the last one out of the kitchen because i ate 24 pieces of toast with butter on all the toast and it was yum. When we had free time i went on the trampolines with my friends and we went really high It was fun.
Have you  ever done Mountain boarding before?

The sun and carbon Snake Experriment

Today in Inquiry we did a science experiment. We had alcohol and baking powder and also sand. We lit the baking powder on fire and it made these charcoal worms. Then we put sand on it to let it go out. We tried to do the experiment because we tried to make a model of the Sun. It smelled like smoke, and then the smell went away then came back. We put the ingredients in a black metal tin and it did not break or burn. We sat on rocks while the teachers were lighting the baking powder. It took them 10 minutes.

It was like the sand was growing upwards like a tall tree, growing in your own garden. We did the experiment because we’re learning about the sun and how it burns.
